Could you make a short presentation of yourself or you business?

My name is Mark Fennelly and I come from Ireland.  I am studying a masters degree in Swedish-English translation at Linnaeus University (formerly known as Växjö University).

What is your intention with your advertisement?

At the moment my advertisement does not have any purpose as such.  However, over the coming months I plan to start my own little translation service and use RichRank as a means of advertisement.  As soon as I have finished creating a website for my translation service, I will add a link on my RichRank pillar so that customers may be able to access my website from RichRank.

What  made you create an entry on RichRank ?

I was informed about RichRank from a friend and when I visited the site I was amazed at how simple, yet genius, the idea was.  I immediately thought of my own future translation service, and how RichRank would be the perfect way to help advertise it.

Would you like to add any comments?

I found RichRank to be a very user-friendly site; creating an advertising pillar was extremely easy and fast.  I really like the fact that I can change the content of my pillar at any time and it doesn’t cost me any extra.  I think RichRank is a great, and cheap, way to help get a new business off the ground, or to more effectively advertise an already existing one.

My name is Whilmar López and I came from Colombia to Sweden at the age of 15. Here I studied “International Business” with “Advanced Business Development” as my major. During the last three years I was running my own business (event management) but today I work as Operations Manager at Drivhuset in Växjö.

What is your intention with your advertisement?

I wanted to reach out with my message on an inventive and fresh webpage.

What  made you create an entry on RichRank ?

I found the idea challenging and inventive.

Good looking site, easy to understand. I’m of the opinion that people should realize their own ideas and at the same time look for new challenges.

I had the idea to present the people and companies in the “Hall of Fame” to you a little closer and giving them the opportunity to introduce themselves a little more at the same time.  Therefore I created a new category in this blog, called Spotlight. The participants get yet another way to make themselves seen and to communicate their message by answering a few questions . These short interviews are going to be  published here.

This is the place to follow me and the development of RichRank. Here I want to give you some insights about the idea as well as keep you updated with the latest news and my personal thoughts and considerations about my quirky business idea.

What’s the situation? Well, the site is finally up and running after a looong time of development and bug fixing. At the moment only a few entries (or banners, whatever you prefer to call it) appear on RichRank. Some of those are friends who liked the idea and wanted to be part of it from the beginning (all entries are fully paid and legit, no cheating). Other entries are however from people unknown to me, probably friends of friends since I haven’t promoted the site much yet – this will be my big task during the spring and summer months.

I am really excited to find out how people will react and how they will respond to the idea. Most of those who I have presented the idea so far show a typical pattern of reaction. First they are a little sceptic but after having thought a little longer about it they change their minds and say something in the line of “wow” – “this will become big”. I hope they are right. ;-) Those who have heard about the idea so far are really getting curious: “Will this idea really become a success?”, “Who will create an entry?” and “How much will they pay?” This curiosity makes them check out the Website regularly.

I know it is a crazy idea, but I’m hoping that’s exactly what it will make it appealing to many people. What do you think about RichRank?
