How does RichRank work?

The ranking list and the logic behind it

The ranking list is based on the amount in Euro (€) that the owner of an entry has paid. The one who has paid the most is ranked No. 1. If someone has paid the same amount for an entry as someone else has, the person who paid first will remain on that rank, while the person who paid second will be ranked one lower and so on. The one who paid a 1-Euro entry last will be ranked last.

The Entry

An entry can be created by everybody, whether or not you are advertising yourself or your business. The time your entry is displayed on RichRank.com is unlimited. The website will be online at least until the 1st of January 2015, longer time is planned. An entry contains the following elements:

• Headline (preferably the personal or company name of the entry owner)

• Message/Text

• URL

• Image

Only the headline is required; all other elements are optional. The Euro-value appears always in the bottom right-hand corner of an entry. The value can be boosted at any time.

Three steps to create your own entry

When you create your own entry, you generate a personal account at the same time. To enter the ranking list with your entry you have to follow the next three steps:

1.    Choose the content of the entry (headline, message, URL, image). You can change the content of your entry at any time in your personal account.

2.    Choose the Euro-value of your entry (which at the same time is the amount to pay). To make it more convenient to compare the values of the entries, I decided to use only one currency, Euro.

3.    First, type your profile information: your name, password and email-address, which won’t be visible for other users. Note, the email-address you type in cannot be changed after registration! It will be your login/username. Then choose your preferred payment method.

Payment

You can choose between one of the provided, secure payment methods. In case you choose PayPal or Credit Card (through PayPal) you will be forwarded to the respective website where you conduct the payment. After payment on one of those sites you will be redirected to RichRank and your entry will be shown in the ranking directly.

If you choose payment via bank transfer and finish the registration process, you will have to transfer the Euro-amount to the bank account which will be shown on the following page. An email will be sent to you as well containing the bank account information and payment amount. When the payment is conducted your entry will be activated. This might take a few days, so if you want your entry to be shown online directly, choose one of the other payment methods.

Account Administration Features

• Click Counter (shows how many visitors of the website have totally clicked your entry. Maximum one click per visitor/IP-address per day will be counted
• Modification of the content of your entry (headline, message, URL, image)
• Modification of your personal profile
• Delete your personal entry and account
• Boost the value of your entry and thereby possibly the rank of your entry.

You can boost the value of your entry at any time.

To boost the value of your entry, you only have to pay the price difference between the current Euro value and the target Euro value. For example, if you already have an entry worth 20 Euro, and you want to increase its value to 25 Euro, you only have to pay 5 Euro extra.

Hall of Fame

Anyone who has ever obtained ranking position No.1 on RichRank is perpetuated in the “Hall of Fame”. The “Hall of Fame” can act as proof that, at one time or another, you once occupied the coveted No.1 position. (The Hall of Fame ranks only those entries which have been No.1 on the worldwide ranking list, and not those who have been top ranked in a certain country only.)

Country Selection

To be able to show country specific ranking lists you can filter these entries by selecting a certain country from the “country selection” in the top of the sidebar. The standard value is “Worldwide”. So someone might even be able to become No.1 in a certain country without necessarily being No.1 in the “Worldwide List”.
